First off- information time, everything is pretty loose at the moment with nothing solid but for my own piece of mind I’ve decided to put a date in place to stop working in Newbury so I can focus on househunting and get the move in order. This date is 19th July, as I’ll be working the Cardiff Tattoo and Toy convention the 23rd and 24th July, then hopefully moving the week after!
I am now fully booked during my remaining time at the Black Rabbit in Newbury, I will be moving to Southmead Tattoo in Bristol as of August and will be fulltime in Bristol from then.
However I am not currently booking that far ahead yet as I don’t want to have to rearrange or disappoint anyone. The best way to get booked in once I move is to fill out this booking form and send it back to me from the 6th June!

Hey everyone, I’m back in the UK, I had a great time in Singapore but unfortunately got back to some sad news. Due to a change in personal circumstances I will now be moving to Bristol, not Winchester as originally planned. I feel like I have to move somewhere completely new so I can have a fresh start, and I’ve always wanted to move to the West Country so it just seemed like the right time and situation. Sorry to all my Berkshire clients, but I still have June, July and possibly August to finish any ongoing tattoos, however-Bristol is only up the M4 and pretty easy to reach by train too so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get by. I will keep everyone updated on coming guest spots and any news on this blog and my Instagram @hannahcalaveratattoos
Hey everyone, hope you like the updated site! I wanted to have one that I could update more easily, maybe add a shop to and just keep the blog going.
I absolutely love working in Picture house tattoo studio, all the gals there are not only amazingly talented, but funny and great to work with too. I think that has reflected in my work since starting there as well, less stress and a nicer working environment=more time to focus on tattooing! art and just generally being happier.
Did my first ever (semi) realistic pet portrait on Chris
Which was a lot of fun, I want to do more of those for definite.
I haven’t got many new finished tattoos to post up as unfortunately I’ve been off for two weeks with whiplash after a car crash. Not a great thing for a tattooist to get with the neck and back ache etc!
At least I’ve been making the most of my time off (zonked on painkillers I might add) by getting some lady based artwork started for prints!
Here are a few sneak peeks, but not letting you see the finished articles Until they are all ready!
Aaand in other news I will be getting my car back tomorrow and back at work, fighting fit on Thursday. I managed to go out for a few drinks (probably shouldn’t have with the painkillers and all but I couldn’t miss another outing down to bad luck)
Here is a picture of us all looking very…ahem, glamorous before we headed off to Swindon
This weekend was the third annual female tattoo show in Leamington spa, I had a lot of fun and met a lot of talented and lovely ladies from around the UK. It was the first time at a convention I actually felt comfortable and not nervous as hell! I entered Jen’s octopus chest piece in the competition
I won best large colour!
And got to work on Liz’s sleeve some more.
Went out afterwards and had a fantastic time too….oh and I bought a sweeeeet taxidermied crow!
